Linger Daily Privacy Policy

Linger Daily ("we," "our," or "the app") is built to help you grow in stillness and scripture. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

DATA WE COLLECT ─────────────────────────────────────────

Session Data We store your stillness session history locally on your device and, if you are signed into iCloud, synced to your private iCloud account. This includes: • Session dates and durations • Your selected lesson plan and day number • Optional journal entries you write after sessions • Your streak and garden progress

This data never leaves Apple's infrastructure except as described in section 2 below.

Notification Preferences If you enable daily reminders, your chosen reminder time and style are stored locally on your device. Notifications are scheduled on-device and no notification data is sent to our servers.

Subscription Status Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive only a confirmation of whether your subscription is active. We do not collect or store payment information.

Ask Feature (AI Spiritual Questions) When you submit a question in the Ask tab, the text of your question and today's scripture reference are sent to our secure server (hosted on Cloudflare Workers) to generate a response. We do not store your questions or responses on our servers beyond the time needed to generate the reply (typically under 30 seconds). Questions are not used to train AI models.

Session data is used solely to calculate your streak, growth stats, garden progress, and lesson plan position. • iCloud sync is used only to keep your data consistent across your own Apple devices. No one else can access your iCloud data. • Questions sent to the Ask feature are used only to generate your answer and are not retained.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information. • We do not use advertising SDKs or sell your data to third parties. • We do not use analytics services that track your behavior. • We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or location.

───────────────────────────────────────── 4. DATA RETENTION & DELETION ─────────────────────────────────────────

All session data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account. You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling Linger Daily. To remove iCloud data, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Linger Daily and delete the data there.

Linger Daily is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
